Personal appearance
It is important to display a high standard of personal presentation while training and working as a beauty therapist. This doesn't mean you have to pile yourself in make up and have big bold beautiful hair, however whether we like it or not, we are always judged by people on our appearance as it is the first thing we notice about each other. This is a strong thing in beauty as your clients will always judge you as they look at us the beauty therapists for guidance on how to look after themselves.
Personally the word appearance to me means looking healthy. Every 3 to 5 days I will have a full pamper day, which I would advice to everyone not just people entering the beauty industry. For me this includes a face scrub and face mask for healthy looking skin, a basic manicure or just a file and paint to maintain a clean fresh look, a full bubble bath soak and checking over your eyebrows to create the finished look.

Beauty therapy training
So are you interested in signing up for a beauty course or have already and want to know a little bit more?? Well don't worry I was just the same this time last year. So I have decided I am going to share. My experiences in training to become a beauty therapist with you :)
Get excited !! You have either enrolled to become a beauty therapist or are just deciding, you may be feeling a little scared right now but trust me that's only normal. Your first day in training is called your induction day, so make the most of it speak to every other trainee in the room and you will soon start to feel a little more comfortable.
Time to start learning, remember you are here because you want to be, so ,a,e the most of your experience and take everything on board, I trust you will make an amazing beauty therapist at the end of your learning and throughout your training. So good luck to you and look out for more blogs on my experiences training as a beauty therapist :)
